Scholarship and Bursary

 

Bursary: There are two bursaries on offer by the Foundation. These are:

  1. Bursary for student of Cardiff University, UKThe Anirudh Mayaram Foundation awards GBP 200 bursary to the successful applicant. The amount disbursed in any one year is in accordance with the Foundation’s balance sheet and its governing laws.

    Eligibility:

    Applicant to the Anirudh Mayaram Memorial Bursary must be a student from any of the developing countries and the applicant must be enrolled in second year of LlB degree course in Cardiff Law School. All applicants for the bursary must apply to the Mayaram Foundation by 31 December of the academic year (September-May).The bursary winner will be notified by the Foundation. The name will also be announced at www.anirudhmayaram.com

    Assistance:

    Through the Foundation, assistance to applicants is available to meet miscellaneous expenses, including travel, participation in seminars etc. and purchase of books, in pursuit of Law studies. The bursary is available only to students from developing countries and the selection would be based on need-cum-merit basis. The decision of the Anirudh Mayaram Foundation would be final.

  2. Bursary for student of Saint Xavier Senior Secondary School, Jaipur, IndiaThe Anirudh Mayaram Foundation awards Rs. 16,000 to the successful applicant. The amount disbursed in any one academic year (April to March) is in accordance with the Foundation’s balance sheet and its governing laws.

    Eligibility:

    Applicant to the Anirudh Mayaram Memorial Bursary must be a student from deprived sections of the society must be enrolled in Class XI or XII in the School. All applicants for the bursary must apply to the Principal, Saint Xavier Senior Secondary School, Jaipur, India. The bursary winner will be notified by the School authorities. The name will also be announced on the Anirudh Mayaram Foundation website (www.anirudhmayaram.com)

    Assistance:

    Through the Foundation, assistance to applicants is available to meet miscellaneous expenses, including travel for educational purposes, purchase of books, payment of admission fee for higher education, fitment costs in pursuance of higher education etc. The bursary is available only to one student belonging to the deprived sections of the society but meritorious. The selection would be based on need-cum-merit basis. The decision of the Saint Xavier School authorities would be final.

    At present, the amount of bursary is being donated by Ms Vijaya Chowdhary of New Delhi.
